Getting to the Root of the Problem: Basic Techniques of Plant Disease Diagnosis will cover the steps required to identify the cause of your plant problems. From foliar and stem diseases to root problems, learn to identify the symptoms to determine if the problem is fungal, bacterial, viral, caused by an insect or culturally induced and what the options are for remediation. Presenter Kathy Kosta is a plant pathologist with 38 years of experience. As California’s Primary State Plant Pathologist, she worked statewide diagnosing plant problems, training professionals, and developing Best Management Practices for ornamental and native plant nurseries.
