From the Caribbean Islands come legendary steel drum virtuosos Clifford Alexis, the “Paganini of the Pan,” Liam Teague, and the up-and-coming, young sensation Khan Cordice. With flying mallets and astonishing precision, these three masters unleash dazzling cascades of tropical sound! Backed by Humboldt State’s own Calypso Band, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary with this special performance, it’s sure to be an explosive evening of danceable rhythms, Carnival compositions, and powerful percussion.
