Mattole Grange Labor Day Dance and Beef and Bean BBQ

On Saturday night, September 5th, the Mattole Grange is hosting a speghetti dinner and square dance fundraiser, from 5 to 9 PM, $10 per person cover charge, couples $15, under 16 free. Food, beer, and wine available for purchase. Dance music performed by Paul Sheldon and friends, plus Loose Gravel West, a local dance band. On Sunday afternoon, September 6th, there will be the annual Labor Day Beef and Bean BBQ event, starting at Noon sharp. Come on by and enjoy the famous locally sourced beef, beans, and corn served picnic style. Adults - $20, kids 11 and under - $10. Drawings, auctions, home-made pie booth, and kids games. Bring your own bowls, plates, silverware and side dishes. The historic Mattole Grange Hall is located next to A. W. Way Park on the Mattole Road between Honeydew and Petrolia. Over-night camping is available at A. W. Way Park.
