May Day Essential Cinema: Inglourious Basterds

Eureka Theater

Join us on Friday, May 1st at the historic Eureka Theater for a special edition of our Essential Cinema series. We are celebrating the labor holiday of May Day with a big screen presentation of Quentin Tarantino’s explosive WWII revenge fantasy, Inglourious Basterds.
This is your chance to see Brad Pitt as Lt. Aldo Raine, the Tennessee-born leader of a Jewish-American squad of Nazi hunters known as the “Basterds.” He scalps, he carves swastikas, and he delivers the line “I think this just might be my masterpiece.” Meanwhile, a young Jewish cinema owner named Shosanna Dreyfus (Mélanie Laurent) plots her own fiery vengeance. It is tense, it is violent, it is darkly funny, and it demands to be seen on the biggest screen possible.
Part of our Essential Cinema series. Because some films are not just movies. They are experiences that demand a crowd, a dark theater, and a big screen.

Doors Open at 7:00 PM
