Meet The Local Maker: Lucid Society Dyes

We will be hosting local maker Gretchen Hammer with Lucid Society Dyes @Lucidsocietydyes on Thursday October 26th from 5-8pm at Scotia Lodge! 😀

Gretchen creates her clothing using an ice dying process which she finds very therapeutic.

“Each and every piece is one of a kind and that’s what makes ice dyeing so special and unique. You can lay down your ice and dye how you think you want your piece to look, but ultimately, it’s trusting the ice to work it’s magic and always having an element of surprise come rinse day.”

Gretchen will have limited ready made pieces and would love for you to join her to create your own and learn a little about the ice dyeing process! We will see you there!
