Melodies For The Masses

Arcata Playhouse

Melodies for the Masses is an evening of song, magic, spoken word, comedy,
fancy non alcoholic drinks and fun. Being presented by the teens of Apprentice Entertainment,
it will feature some of Humboldt County’s finest young talent in an exciting cabaret format.
Local teen artists include UFO 8, Klez Encounters of the Fez Kind, The Echidnas, Arianna Seal
and many more. Young or old are welcome to come check it out.
Apprentice Entertainment is a program of the Arcata Playhouse, whose goal is to create interesting
and creative events for teenagers in our community. The participants in the group are given the
chance to take part in each step in the process of creating an event, from the initial design of the
event to the final outcome. Along the way, the teens have the opportunity to perform, work with
publicity and marketing, event coordination and management, and technical aspects like sound and lights.
Members or our current task force are a great group of twelve 9th through 12th graders from 
McKinleyville High, Arcata High and North Coast Prepatory Academy. For more information or to
