Mini Children’s Festival with Laura Doherty

Arcata Playhouse joins Humboldt County Library in welcoming families to a free Mini Children’s Festival in the Creamery District! Join Chicago-based singer & songwriter Laura Doherty as she visits Humboldt County for the first time. Her upbeat, interactive concerts will have kids dancing and clapping along to Laura’s original catchy tunes! Before and after the two performances families can enjoy interactive arts and crafts, HumBubbles, stories with Ms. Sue, creative dance with Shoshanna, the Wonder Wagon, Redwood Discovery Museum exhibits, a fairy garden, and visit with local organizations providing information about community services. This festival offers fun activities for children and families from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Laura Doherty performs two sets, one at 10:30 a.m. and a second round at 1:00 p.m. This event is FREE!!
