MIR Open House: I look forward to sharing tracks from my upcoming solo album, and talking about my process as a songwriter and arranger. Different spaces have different sonic elements, and I have built a creative flow space where I reside to both capture sound and vibe. I am excited to be recording a couple live tracks at the Westhaven Center this weekend, as well. Part of the process I have chosen includes recording in spaces at different artistic hubs, to distill qualities from those spaces into the music itself. Featuring the paintings of Justine Bartow-Funk, locally-based visual artist whose work is a dedication towards the movement of light, in the way that a dancer moves through space.
