MLK Day of Service is scheduled for Monday, January 17, 2022! HSU students, faculty and staff are invited to join us for a morning of community service before returning to campus for lunch, reflection, and a closing speaker. Register before Jan 3rd at yes.humboldt.edu/mlk. We are excited to hear from our amazing closing speaker, Bree Newsome, who will be joining us virtually. Bree is a community organizer and activist who removed the Confederate battle flag from the South Carolina State House. Transportation, t-shirt, breakfast, snacks, and lunch provided.
