MODERN NATURE - the name taken from the title of Derek Jarman’s garden diaries - is currently Jack Cooper (ex-Ultimate Painting / Mazes) plus Jim Wallis (drums), Jeff Tobias (bass guitar) and Tara Cunningham (guitar). Their music explores collectivism, our relationship with the natural world, and the weight of consciousness and their latest album ‘The Heat Warps’ was released this year on Bella Union Records.

Special guest BRIGID DAWSON, best known as the long-time keyboardist and backing vocalist for psych-rock band THEE OH SEES (or OSEES), opens the show with her group THE MOTHERS NETWORK - a rotating cast of players that serve as “a testament to friendship, the joy of collaboration, and a gentle sticking it to the man.” Bar opens at 7:30pm, Music at 8pm. 21+
