Time in the garden is a great way to spend Mother’s Day. On Sunday, April 20, Friends of the Lost Coast invite all to a Mother’s Day Celebration & Native Plant Sale at the Lost Coast Education Center, 768 Shelter Cove Rd in Whitethorn. A wide selection of flowering native annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees and grasses is available – and the day includes expert advice, garden tours, kid’s activities, free coloring books and more! Picnic lunches encouraged! It’s happening Sunday, May 11 from 10am to 3pm. Look for the sign that says Native Plants!
