One Solution At A Time is sponsoring a Music Extravaganza fundraiser for Redwood Teen Challenge on Saturday, Aug. 5 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at Halvorson Park, 1003 Waterfront Dr. in Eureka. Admission is Free but Donations are appreciated. Bands include True Gospel Singers, the Paula Jones Band, the Arcata Interfaith Gospel Choir, Pat Holland and The Movers and The Shakers plus other groups. Special Guest is Watts Poet, Amde Hamilton. There will be food, a motorcycle and car show, skate ramps, a raffle and more. This Event will benefit Redwood Teen Challenge’s proposed Women’s Transitional Center, a residential recovery program aimed at helping to rescue people from destructive lifestyles; rebuild them emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually; and return them to family, community and the work force.
