National Public Lands Day Volunteer Workday
Ma-le’l Dunes North (Off Young Lane)
Celebrate National Public Lands Day at the Ma-le’l Dunes Unit of Humboldt Bay Wildlife Refuge. Volunteer and help restore coastal dune habitat by removing invasive, non-native yellow bush lupine. Wear long sleeves, long pants and closed- toe shoes. Take Young Lane off Hwy 255 in Manila/Arcata and follow the signs. We’ll provide tools, gloves and lunch. Please let us know you plan to attend so we can have enough food.
