Native Plant Lovers’ Hike

Sanctuary Forest

Join Sanctuary Forest on Saturday, June 23rd for the Native Plant Lovers’ Hike. This moderate hike is an opportunity for participants to learn more about our native plants and how to identify them! Come take a walk with Cheryl Lisin of the Lost Coast Interpretive Association and explore riparian, chaparral and forest habitats, learning about the plants we see along the way. The two and a half mile walk takes place on the Pacific Rim Trail in the King Range. Meet at the Sanctuary Forest office at 315 Shelter Cove Road #4 in Whitethorn at 9:30am. The hike will conclude by 3:00pm. Bring a lunch and water, and dress in layers. This hike is free of charge, but donations are gladly accepted and make it possible for Sanctuary Forest to offer this program year after year.
