Nature Journaling at the Arcata Marsh

Arcata Marsh Interpretive Center

Friends of the Arcata Marsh (FOAM) offers its free monthly session “Nature Journaling at the Marsh” with naturalist Lynn Jones. No pre-registration required; sessions limited to first 10 people to show up at the Marsh Interpretive Center at 10 am for a 90-minute session. All ages welcome, as long as participants are able to concentrate quietly for an extended period of time. FOAM provides clipboards and colored pencils; participants need to bring paper and a writing implement to jot notes. A pad to sit on or a folding chair is recommended; binoculars and guidebooks are optional. Wear weather-appropriate clothing. Heavy rain cancels.
