New Year’s Walk at Lanphere Dunes

Start the year off right with a New Year’s Walk at the beautiful and diverse Lanphere Dunes Unit of the Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge. The Lanphere Dunes features a dune forest, wetlands, moving sand dunes, and a diverse community of plants and animals. This walk will have a special theme of renewal to get you into the New Year’s spirit. Meet naturalist Barbara Reisman at Pacific Union School, 3001 Janes Road in Arcata to carpool to this protected site. Space is limited, please reserve your spot by contacting Friends of the Dunes.
