New Yorker Magazine Sketches by Illustrator Garth Williams
Opening night for a collection of prints and sketches by children’s book illustrator Garth Williams. He is most famous for illustrating Charlotte’s Web and the Little House Series, but this show features earlier original sketches, some of which were published in the New Yorker. The show opens at 6 pm on June 3, 2017 as part of Arts Alive in Old Town Eureka with refreshments served. A special discussion on the prints occurs at 7 pm and 8 pm.
