Nice ‘n Easy at the MGMA for An Afternoon of Jazz

Come visit the Morris Graves Museum of Art for an afternoon of great music on Sunday, December 19th at 3:00pm. Enjoy An Afternoon of Jazz with Nice ‘n Easy, and hear jazz from talented local musicians performing jazz standards from the Frank Sinatra/Tony Bennett song books as well as some holiday favorites in those styles. Nice ‘n Easy consists of Brigette Marie Terry, Vocals and percussion; Albert Clark, piano and vocal; Bear Winkle, Bass; and Bill Moehnke, drums and vocals. Nice ’n Easy was formed over 20 years ago with Don Moehnke, Bill Moehnke, Bear Winkle and Patty Holbrook. Since then, Albert Clark stepped in on piano, and Brigette Marie Terry adds vocals as Patty retired and Don passed in 2012. Nice’n Easy has not been able to perform for almost 2 years, due to the COVID pandemic. Previous to COVID, Nice’n Easy had performed at the MGMA’s Jazz Program in December for the past several years. We here at the MGMA are very excited to be able to continue that tradition! Things are sure to get festive as the tunes begin to flow at the Morris Graves Museum’s monthly event, An Afternoon of Jazz, with Nice ‘n Easy on Sunday, December 19th at 3:00pm! Don’t forget your dancing shoes!
