Night Sky Viewing
Redwood National and State Parks (NPS)
Join a Ranger at the Dolason Trailhead 11.2 miles up Bald Hills Road for the last night sky viewing of the season—above the fog! Bring a flashlight, blanket and/or chairs. Bugspray is also recommended. Topics vary and will generally include a telescope viewing and a laser tour of the stars. Call (707) 465-7765 for more information. Junior Ranger Night Explorer packets and patches are available.
