Nobuko Miyamoto performance & documentary screening

Asian American music icon and activist Nobuko Miyamoto shares her work and words with Cal Poly Humboldt in observance of Fred Korematsu Day of Civil Liberties and the Constitution. She will present her 2024 documentary Nobuko Miyamoto: A Song in Movement which tells the story of a changing community through one of its most beloved storytellers as she reflects on decades of groundbreaking cultural work and a life that has bridged coasts, industries, families, and history. A live performance follows the screening. Fulkerson Recital Hall, Music B Bldg from 5 to 7:30 PM. Seats are first come, first serve.
