“Cuba—From Embargo to Evolution. A Journalist’s look at an island in time.” Dave Silverbrand, long-time Humboldt County television and print personality, will share a personal reflection on his visits to the island nation. He has visited Cuba four times, including the week before President Obama visited this spring. The public forum begins at noon at the Samoa Cookhouse at 908 Vance Ave., Samoa. Lunch is no-host.
