Northern Nights Music Festival and Dirtybird Campout

Cook’s Valley Campground

This three-day festival takes place annually at Cook’s Valley Campground on the South Fork Eel River in Piercy, California. It is known for its blend of electronic music, arts, camping, yoga, and cannabis culture. The festival attracts around 6,000 attendees and offers various stages, including a unique River Stage where attendees can listen to music while floating in the Eel River. Other highlights include art installations, wellness activities like yoga and meditation, local and global craft vendors, regional craft brews and wines, and organic food offerings. The setting is in a Redwood forest, including the largest Redwood grove available for camping. A portion of the proceeds from the festival’s ticket and beverage sales are donated to local school districts, non-profits, and environmental groups.
