Free Movie Night at the Mateel! Accepted (2006) Not Your Average College Bound Film Series Mateel Community Center/December 18th/6:30PM/Free MCC’s Youth Alive! will be combining forces with TRiO Talent Search on Wednesday, December 18th at the Mateel Community Center to screen the next film of the NYA College Bound Film Series. This month’s screening will feature one of Jonah Hill’s first comedies, Accepted (2006)—a ridiculous story about a group of friends who are denied college admission and decide to create a university of their own. Join us for the film and stay for the post-screening discussion. We are pleased to announce that Jerome Yorke, a current graduate student with Dell’Arte, will be joining us to share his insight on how to choose the path that’s right for you when considering a collegiate future. This event is free and open to everyone—students, parents, and community members are encouraged to join us. (Parental Advisory, PG-13) Doors open at 6pm; Film starts at 6:30pm.
