NRLT Canoe the Slough

Freshwater Farms Reserve

Join local climate adaptation scientists, an environmental interpretive specialist, and Northcoast Regional Land Trust supporters on a guided interpretive paddle in kayaks through Freshwater Slough & Humboldt Bay. Learn about the impacts of sea level rise on our local agricultural lands, critical infrastructure, and habitat. This 5-mile paddle requires sustained movement. All boats and gear provided. Dress warmly, wear a hat, and bring water and a snack. Ages 12 and up – families encouraged!
