Richards’ Goat Tavern and Tea Room, Heady Exports and Captcha Records bring you a night of NUDITY (Olympia, WA) Captain Captain (Arcata. CA) 8/12/15 = 10PM = $5 Nudity is comprised of five lords and ladies from Olympia, Washington armed with an arsenal of heavy, heady, hard rocking, Krautrock­infused compositions. Their 2015 album “Astronomicon” on Seattle’s Iron Lung Records is the latest distillation of a sound that singer/guitarist Dave Harvey and select heavy players have been honing since the band’s 2005 inception. It finds Nudity building a shape­shifting pinnacle of sound, its pounding rhythmic core armored with hard riffs, cloaked in swaths of colorful synths, and striped with soaring, searing leads and knife­sharp vocals.
