Omi Tutu: Cool Waters

Synapsis

One Night Only — Award-winning choreographer and performer Kimberly Miguel Mullen presents OMI TUTU: Cool Waters, a solo, multimedia, multi-sensory dance performance honoring sacred waters, ancestry, and the Orichas Yemayá and Ochún. The work is created in collaboration with Oscar-nominated filmmaker Craig Renaud, whose cinematography deepens the immersive experience.
Co-hosted by Samba do Mar Humboldt, the evening features a dynamic Brazilian Samba opening performance and is presented as part of the Annual Afro-Brazilian Dance Workshop Residency in Humboldt.
