One California Condor’s Story: A New Exhibit at Cal Poly Humboldt’s Wildlife Department

Six Rivers Masonic Lodge

Join RRAS on Thursday, January 18, at 7:00 p.m. for Tamar Danufsky’s presentation “One California Condor’s Story: A New Exhibit at CalPoly Humboldt’s Wildlife Department.” Last year, CalPoly Humboldt’s Wildlife Dept put a new specimen on display — a spectacular California Condor. Former curator, Tamar Danufsky, will talk about this bird’s story, the hurdles to acquire the carcass, & the challenges faced in preparing the bird for exhibit. With condors finally soaring again in Humboldt skies, here is the opportunity to learn about the plight of this critically endangered species through the story of one bird.
