Orbit Arts Sonic Showcase: Three Radio Plays from Pelican Bay

Come gather and listen to three original audio pieces created by the 2025 Orbit Arts working theatre ensembles at Pelican Bay State Prison in collaboration with KHSU’s Stephanie McGeary and local artist Cory Goldman at Dell’Arte International on Thursday, January 29th at 7:30 p.m.

We are excited to share that this event serves as a fundraiser that the contributing artists at Pelican Bay have helped put together. Money raised will go toward funding a spring term of classes at Humboldt County Correctional Facility as part of Dell’Arte’s Orbit Arts Program, carrying on the work we began in the fall working with a new cohort of women. We commend the men at Pelican Bay for their drive to give back and be part of sponsoring theatre education inside the jail. The pieces originally aired on KHSU as part of the Holiday Season. If you missed them, this event is the time to listen. If you heard them already, this event is your chance to contribute.

Helpful Tip: The event will take place in Dell’Arte’s main studio, which is up a flight of stairs and shoes are not allowed. We kindly ask that you prepare accordingly.
