Parent Voices Humboldt
Parent Voices Humboldt (PVH) will meet on Saturday June 14th at 10:00 a.m. at the Jefferson Community Center. All parents and guardians are welcome to join. Current topics include how the 2014-2015 State Budget will impact subsidies for child care and early childhood education. Parent Voices Humboldt is a parent-run, parent-led grassroots organization striving to make quality child care accessible and affordable to all families. Through participation in Parent Voices, parents come together to use their collective power to make long-term changes in child care policy at local, state and federal levels. Parent Voices Humboldt meets monthly at the Jefferson Community Center located at 1000 B St., Eureka. Free on-site child care, refreshments, and Spanish translation are provided.
