Pastels on the Plaza
The first Saturday in October is the day families, artists and sponsors gather on the Arcata Plaza for a magical art show. The sidewalk surrounding the plaza is transformed into a gallery of art with a riot of color! This benefit for Northcoast Children’s Services is supported by local businesses that sponsor an artist by making a donation of $150 or $250 for a square of sidewalk art. New businesses and artists are always welcome and encouraged to sign up early to participate in the event.
