Pastels on the Plaza
The first Saturday in October is the day families, artists, and sponsors gather on the Arcata Plaza for a magical art show. The sidewalk is transformed into a gallery of art with a riot of color! This benefit for Northcoast Children’s Services is supported by local sponsors by making a donation of $150 or $250 for a square of sidewalk art. This event is free for volunteer artists and pastels are provided.

This event is a benefit for Northcoast Children’s Services who provides free early childhood education and family services to over 800 families throughout Humboldt and Del Norte counties each year.
