Patriot Award and Redwood ACLU Annual Meeting

D Street Neighborhood Center

On Monday, January 23, 2017 at 6:00 p.m., the Redwood Chapter of the ACLU will hold its annual meeting at the D Street neighborhood Center, located at 1301 D Street, Arcata, CA. The keynote speaker will be Charlie Frederick, who is employed by the ACLU of Northern California. The topic will be “Civil Liberties in the Age of Trump.” In addition, the annual election will be held. The ACLU is looking for new board members locally. If anyone is interested, they should attend the annual meeting. Finally, the Redwood ACLU will present its annual Patriot Award, an award for a person who has made a difference to civil liberties in Humboldt County. This year’s recipient of the award is Renee Saucedo.
