Mad River Brewery Tasting Room

The Sister City Project is currently sustaining a number of projects in Camoapa, all of them supported by the funds raised at the I Block Party. In collaboration with the local chapter of Engineers without Borders, we recently drilled a well that will bring running water to the local hospital in Camoapa. We are in our eleventh year of providing scholarships for secondary students. At last year’s I Block Party we had a group of Camoapans visit us, three of whom are students who receive these scholarships. We also make an annual donation to the Centro de infantiles (CDI), the preschool in Camoapa for low-income families. Other projects include an annual donation to Hogar Luceros del Amanecer, an organization that provides meals, tutoring, and healthcare for Camoapan children and their families who need this type of assistance. Live music from 6:00-8:00 from Angel Fargas and Lyndsey Battle! Enjoy a beer, good music and support Arcata’s sister city, Camoapa!
