Pints for Playgrounds
Trillium Charter School is a public K-5 elementary school in Arcata, CA. When the school opened, playground equipment was purchased that met the needs and standards at the time. Over the past 15 years, the main playground structure has been repeatedly repaired, but has now degraded and is in desperate need of replacement. It will not stand another year, so our goal is to fund this project and get another playground structure installed before the 2016/17 school year begins.
We are fundraising to cover the costs of a new playground structure or structures, and their shipping and installation. All funds received will go directly to the purchase of either a large play structure or several smaller structures - depending upon how much money we can raise and the timing of any installation that is required.
The Siren’s Song Tavern will be donating $1 per pint sold during this event to our playground fund. This is our final fundraising push before the school year ends.
