Planet Four returns to Persimmon’s Garden Gallery in Redway, Vocalist Beth Wells steps out with back-up from bassist Peter Weissman, percussionist Orlando Morales, and co-leader, multi-instrumentalist Andy Barnett. Dedicated to tight arrangements, intimate expression and just plain fun, the group’s stellar sound draws from years of experience and musical diversity. Always new and engaging songs. Planet Four offers tunes from many styles into their orbit including original funk and jazz and their own take on world grooves and classics from the American Songbook.
