The Arcata Playhouse Wonder Wagon hits the road again Tuesday, August 4th delivering free art-kits to McKinleyville, and Arcata.  The free art-kits will include materials and instructions for creation and fun with theatrical masks, kites and ribbon sticks.  

On August 4th, pickups are from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Red Apartments located at 2575 Alliance Rd in Arcata, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the McKinleyville Family Resource Center, and at the corner of Hallen Drive and Valley East Boulevard from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.  All drop off locations are outdoors!  The Playhouse will mark physical distancing spaces at material pick up locations.  Please remember to wear your COVID masks, and keep physical distance when picking up supplies. 

To culminate the week of wonder, participants are encouraged to post their creations to social media platforms on Saturday, August 8th using the hashtag Playhouse Wonder Wagon.  Post photos of masks, videos of dance moves, and kite flying or all of the above; include #playhousewonderwagon in the caption to participate in a virtual spectacle of art and fun with the Playhouse online.  The Arcata Playhouse looks forward to seeing your creations come to life!
