Adapted from the forgotten gem originally written by Thomas Dekker and Thomas Middleton in 1611 and adapted by Penny Penniston, The Roaring Girl tells a tale of Moll Cutpurse who turns 17th century London on its head with her penchant for carousing, swordfighting, theft and taking a stand for personal freedom. Based on the life of Mary Firth, this rousing comedy is full of bawdy humor, swordplay and farce.
