Pollinator Party

Humboldt Coastal Nature Center

Join Friends of the Dunes and partners for a fun filled day on Saturday, May 3rd 📅 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. ⏰ at the Humboldt Coastal Nature Center as we honor the tiny heroes behind blooming gardens 🌸 and thriving ecosystems. 🌱 As spring bursts into bloom, it’s time to celebrate the return of nature’s hardest-working insects! 🦋 Join us for the Pollinator Party, 🎉 a FREE, bilingual (Spanish), family-friendly event designed to spotlight the vital role of insect pollinators in our environment. 💗 Pollinators like bees, 🐝 butterflies, flies, beetles, and moths play a crucial role in plant reproduction, biodiversity, and food production. 🍊 This spring, we’re bringing together nature lovers of all ages for hands-on activities, native garden restoration, crafts, and presentations all aimed at raising awareness and appreciation for these essential insects.
