Ma-le’l Dunes North (Off Young Lane)

Stretch your legs and get outside with a Friends of the Dunes naturalist to walk off your holiday dinner while enjoying the Ma-le’l Dunes Unit of the Humboldt National Wildlife Refuge. This site is home to diverse coastal habitats, including freshwater marsh, saltwater marsh, dune forest, and large moving sand dunes. Meet at the Ma-le’l North parking lot, to get there turn west onto Young Lane from Samoa Blvd. (Hwy 255) and follow the road north past the gun club. Reserve your space by calling (707) 444-1397.
