Pre & Postnatal Pilates Reformer Class

Our bodies go through many changes and challenges during and after pregnancy. The Pilates Reformer is an excellent tool for any mama or mama-to-be to stay strong and connected during this incredible life-changing journey of motherhood.

This 5-week series is a Beginner- Friendly Pilates reformer-based class that is designed for pre & postnatal mamas in accordance with ACSM’s Guidelines for Exercise. Participants will leave this series with a deeper understanding of their own bodies, a stronger mind-body connection, a solid understanding of the Pilates Principles, and specific breathing and movement methods they can utilize to engage their core during everyday functional and fitness movements. The specific exercises are thoughtfully planned out to help strengthen pelvic floor muscles, gently work abdominal muscles, and to align the hips and back joints.

This class will allow mamas the ability to have some time to focus on themselves, meet and interact with other mamas, and experience their personal fitness in a safe and inclusive environment without risk of injury.
