Precision Driver’s School April 22nd & 23rd

Redwood Sports Car Club’s (RSCC) 2017 Precision Drivers School is happening April 22nd and 23rd, 2017 in Samoa, adjacent to the Samoa Airport. This two day event will help you learn the limits of your automobile in a safe and controlled environment under the supervision of experienced instructors. This course is ideal for new or inexperienced drivers as well as those who have been driving for years!

A valid drivers license or permit is required to participate in this event. The cost is $75 for non-members and $65 for RSCC members. The enrollment fee includes breakfast at the Samoa Cookhouse on Saturday and lunch for both Saturday and Sunday. There is a mandatory tech inspection on Friday, April 21st from 5:30 to 7pm at Leon’s Car Care Center, 929 Broadway Eureka. The tech inspection will ensure that your car is road ready.

The schedule of events follows:

• SATURDAY, APRIL 22 7:30am: Check-in, breakfast and classroom instruction at Samoa Cookhouse, 908 Vance Ave., Samoa 9:30am: Drive to instruction site for practical instruction and drills 12:30pm: Lunch will be provided on site (approximate time) 1:30pm: Practical instruction and drills continue 4:30pm: Gates close (approximate time)
• SUNDAY, APRIL 23 8:30am Gates open for autocross (Arrive no later than 9:20am to participate) 10:00am: Driver’s meeting (timed runs to follow) 12:30pm: Lunch will be provided on site (approximate time) 1:30pm: Afternoon timed runs 4:30pm: Gates close (approximate time) For details and to enroll please check the web site: www.rscc.net.

The Redwood Sports Car Club was established in the 1950s in Eureka, CA. Members meet monthly to discuss upcoming events and share autocross ideas.
