A favorite Lost Coast destination, Punta Gorda offers stunning scenery, an historic lighthouse, and a thriving elephant seal colony – and on Saturday, May 10, join Friends of the Lost Coast, Mattole Restoration Council & BLM King Range for this Summer Hike Series kickoff! Featuring Dr. Dawn Goley, Professor of Zoology at CalPoly Humboldt; and graduate student, Ashley Jacobs; this outing offers an opportunity to learn from experts about this fascinating elephant seal colony.
