Auxiliary American Legion Walker Bailey Unit 205 in Fortuna is hosting a Quarter Craze! American Legion is the nation’s largest veteran support organization, and the Auxiliary strives to provide service to both veterans and their families. The funds raised from this event will go to support our projects like Scholarships, Education, Children & Youth, Veteran Support, Community Service, and Girls State where we sponsor girls from Fortuna, Ferndale, South Fork, & Academy of the Redwoods. We have many auction items as well as great raffle prizes including gift baskets, a quilt, wine, cheese, aquarium set, auto services and much more. Dinner will feature local Cook’s BBQ tri tip sandwich & salad bar ($10). Dessert will be a selection of scratch baked cakes, pies, cookies and other wonderful treats (prices will vary), and there will be a beer & wine bar, water, coffee and sodas.
