Joanne Rand CD Release
The Sanctuary presents an evening of music with songwriter-performer Joanne Rand accompanied by Rob Diggins on Violin, Tim Randalls on piano and Piet Dalmolen on electric guitar. The Sanctuary is a church refurbished into a Community Gathering Space and Artists Enclave on the corner of 13th and J Streets in Arcata, CA. Doors are at 7:30, show at 8, $10-20 sliding scale. All ages welcome. Refreshments and spirits available. The show is a benefit for the Sanctuary and a CD release for Rand.

Joanne Rand

Tim Randles
Playing piano since the age of nine, pianist Tim Randles is influenced by jazz-fusion, theatre and world music, and has toured in Senegal. He acts as musical director for shows at Dell’arte and HSU, played with Joe Craven of The Dave Grisman Quintet and accompanied Jane Siberry. He currently hosts the jazz series at Westhaven Center for the Arts.
Rob Diggins
Rob Diggins is a principal violinist with the Portland Baroque Orchestra, Musica Angelica Baroque Orchestra and San Francisco’s Magnificat but will be showing off his fusion, folk, and rock chops.
Piet Dalmolen
Guitarist, Dalmolen is owner-operator and “not-evil genius” at Universal Balance Studios in Arcata. He is a founding member of the long-lived Rock/Funk/Psychedelic Jam band Nucleus. Piet’s “guitar work is a great compliment to the music. Very inspired, bluesy and tasteful.” - George Rezendes Toolshed Soundlab Studios, Port Townsend WA.
