Redwood Region Audubon Society Annual Banquet

D Street Neighborhood Center

Join your local Audubon Society chapter for our annual banquet! Dr. Matthew Betts of Oregon State University will give a fascinating presentation entitled “Hummingbird Highways: Why Landscape Connections Matter to Pollination in the Tropics.” He will discuss how, as tropical forests become increasingly broken up by roads, farm fields, pastures and other developments, corridors of trees provide vital pathways for pollinators and contribute to a rich diversity of plant species. Social hour begins at 5:30 p.m. and dinner at 6:30 p.m. including delicious meat or veggie options from Brett Schuler Catering. Call or email for reservations (see below), or send a check made out to “RRAS” to: P.O. Box 1054, Eureka, CA 95502. Please reserve tickets by February 28!
