Tallamy is a professor of entomology at the University of Delaware who has pioneered research comparing insect diversity on native vs non-native plants. He is also the author of Bringing Nature Home: How You Can Sustain Wildlife With Native Plants—a book that presents the powerful claim that the choices we make as gardeners can profoundly impact the diversity of life in our gardens, our communities, and our planet.
