This year’s Rhododendron Society plant sale will be at the Eureka Home and Garden Show at Redwood Acres on Saturday, May 30th from 10 am - 5 pm. Admission to the show is $5 for adults.

Did you know that Humboldt is one of the best places in the world to grow rhododendrons? Well, it is. These magnificently colorful plants are easy to grow in our climate, a little water, a little food and watch them bloom. Rhododendrons come is many sizes, from 2 feet tall to 30 feet tall, so there is a plant for any spot in your garden, even in a pot! Rhododendrons will be priced at $15 for members and $20 for non-members; if you buy 3 or more rhododendrons, it’s cheaper to become a member and join in our talks, garden tours and potlucks (new members receive one free rhodie when they join). We’ll have several other plants for sale also.
