Riparian Planting at the Estuary
Volunteers will enjoy the beautiful Mattole estuary while helping plant ~300 native riparian plants. This vegetation will help secure sediment, as well as provide biodiversity to the newly restored floodplain. Light snacks and water will be provided. Volunteers should bring their own water containers, lunch and appropriate clothing (rain gear, work boots, etc.). We’ll meet at the Mattole Beach Campground at 9:30am and shuttle to the work site.
