This month it’s ‘Second Friday Jazz: Standa rds and Originals’ , with RLa and vibraphonist/composer Jonathan Kipp, who has played in Zacatecas, Mexico, w/ Andrea Sullivan, Isaías Flores Lugo, La Orquesta de la Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas, and La Filarmónica Zacatecas. Locally he performs w/ Calliope and Timbata as well as the likes of Taylor Ho Bynum and Jenny Scheinman. He studied percussion with Eugene Novotney, Howard Kaufman and Dan Aldag at HSU.
