RLA with Nicholas Dominic Talvola
The second show in the Westhaven Center for the Arts Jazz Series 2017 hosted by the RLA Trio, will be Friday, March 17 at 7:00 pm. RLA’s featured artist will be trumpeter Nicholas Dominic Talvola. Nick was born and raised in Arcata, California and left for Spain at the age of 20 with a trumpet and a dream; he has lived out of the country for the past 14 years. Nick currently tours Europe with The Johnny Freelance Experience; they have been together 6 years playing shows ranging from Cirque du Soleil to private parties for the likes of Naomi Campbell. Nick has shared stages and opened for artists like, Erika Badu, Earth Wind and Fire, Richard bona and Billy Cobham. $5- $20 sliding scale.
